The Ministry of Petroleum and Energy is proud to host Clive Mitchell and Tom Bide from The British Geological Survey . At the initiation of The Geological department they are on a work trip to The Gambia to undertake research on sustainable sources of construction sand including alternative sources of sand in The Gambia.
The Geological department is one of the most important sectors in the economic and infrastructural growth of The Gambia .This visit by the BGS team will hopefully provide much needed insight and knowledge in to best practices that will take this sector to the next level.
In their short time with us Mr Bide and Mr Mitchell will meet with the relevant stakeholders and policy makers in The Government.
